You're the ideal candidate for us if:

1. 2-3 years of experience as a CAD Designer/Engineer, preferably in the millwork or woodworking industry. 2. Experience with Inventor, Solid Work & Mozaik software is highly preferred. 3. Post-secondary education in engineering or related field. 4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. 6. Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients. 7. A passion for design and a keen eye for detail.

Overview:

As a CAD Design Engineer, you will play a key role in transforming project specifications into accurate 2D and 3D drawings and models for millwork production. Working closely with internal teams, clients, and suppliers, you will ensure design accuracy, maintain clear communication, and keep project documentation up to date for efficient and timely project delivery. Responsibilities: 1. Develop detailed 2D and 3D shop drawings/cut files and models for millwork projects. 2. Collaborate with the design, manufacturing and management teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of projects. 3. Interpret and understand customer and project specifications, technical drawings, and ‘blueprints’. 4. Ability to communicate via email & phone calls with clients and suppliers 5. Maintain and update project documentation and files.
